🧭 How to Acclimate Molly Fish – Step by Step

• Float the Bag

➤ Place the sealed fish bag in your tank for 15–20 minutes

➤ This helps equalize the temperature gradually.

• Open the Bag

➤ After floating, open the bag and roll down the edges so it can float upright.

➤ Let the fish breathe fresh air.

• Add Tank Water Slowly

➤ Every 5 minutes, add a small cup of tank water to the bag.

➤ Repeat this process for about 20–30 minutes.

➤ This helps mollies adjust to your tank's pH and chemistry.

• Gently Transfer the Fish

➤ Use a soft net to move the molly fish into the aquarium.

➤ ⚠️ Avoid adding the bag water to your tank.

• Let Them Settle

➤ Keep the lights dim and avoid feeding for a few hours.

➤ This reduces stress and allows the fish to adapt calmly.

• Monitor Closely

➤ Watch the new fish for any signs of stress or illness over the next 24–48 hours.
